Allow Users to Email on Behalf of Another User

The system admin can setup a user to be able to email from BVCMS on behalf of another user. Here's how to do that:

Find the User ID for both users
- Go to the User Table
- Search for the user by last name
- Hover over the person's username to display the ID in task bar

Go to setup page - https://yourchurch.bvcms.com/setup/UsersCanEmailFor
note replace the yourchurch with your church's host header (the part in front of the .bcms.com)
Enter the user ID for the person who will be emailing in the field ‘UserId’
note: userid is not the same as peopleid
Enter the user ID for the person that user will be emailing for in the field ‘CanEmailFor’
Click Create

Here’s what the user will see when they want to email for another user:

The first name in the list will be the user’s name
The other names are users for whom they can email
The email will appear as though it was sent directly from whomever they select
