You will notice on various pages in BVCMS a link named Query, Convert to Query, or Visitors to Query, etc. as well as links that take you to Query Builder. These are simply pre-built queries that allow you to go straight to Query Builder and all you have to do is click Run. The Query is built based on the context. Here are some of the places you will see this feature:
Whatever you have specified in your Search is used to build a Query. In this case, Female Members who are Married and have a zip of 38138. Click Query, then Run. Now you are ready to send an email, export for a Mail Merge, etc.
From a specific meeting, you can, with one click, get a Query of Visitors to that Meeting, Members who were absent, or all attendees.
Filter for Contacts during a specific time period, for a specific Ministry, or specific Type, etc. then click Convert to Query (under Contacts Management) to get a list in Query Builder of everyone who made those Contacts, that is, the Contactors. Now you can send them an email thanking them for being faithful in ministering by making visits, phone calls, etc. Think how encouraging that will be to your staff and laity.
This is an example of links that automatically convert to a Query. The report is displaying how many people fit certain categories, such as those who became New Members, or those who were Baptized. Just click any link on that page and you will have a Query so that you can see the list of people that fit that category. Every category on that report is a link. The screenshot is just a portion of what is displayed on that report.
