Contributions Statements can be generated in two ways (both are PDFs):
There is a Setting that can be created by the database Admin, that allows you to set the minimum contribution amount required for a statement to generate. This is created on the Settings page. Type the name of the setting (MinContributionAmount) in the New Setting field and click Create. Then click inside the Setting field to edit the text. Enter the amount you want for the minimum as a whole number (ex. 200) and then hit Enter. Your starter database may have this setting and you just need to adjust the amount to fit your requirements.
Some churches choose to generate quarterly statements for their donors while some generate them only at the end of the year. Because you control the date range, you can generate them whenever you like. NOTE: There is some administrative set up involved before you generate statements for the first time. See the Statement Header article about how to customize the header and notice on your church contribution statements.
Be sure to see the help article about Contribution Statement Types and Envelope Types in order to insure that you have your donors set up correctly to receive the appropriate type of statement…i.e. either Individual or Joint.
